- Long grain rice 1 glass
- Olive oil 2 tablespoons
- Ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Ground ginger 1 teaspoon
- Coriander seeds 1 teaspoon
- Nutmeg 1 teaspoon
- Water 2 glasses

Method
- Rinse the rice well, soak in cold water for 10-15 minutes. Drain the water. Bring the cooking water (two glasses) to a boil.
- Put a saucepan (preferably with a thick bottom) over medium heat, add oil, add all the spices and, stirring quickly, fry them for a maximum of a minute. Put the rice, mix well and fry the rice in spices for another 2-3 minutes.
- Pour rice with water, salt, let it boil, cook for about 3 minutes over high heat, then turn the heat to a minimum and bring the rice until cooked.
- Serve hot rice with a lump of butter as a side dish with meat or fish dishes. Aromatic masala rice will diversify your daily menu and will be an interesting alternative to regular white rice.
To make it even more appetizing, you need to add turmeric on the tip of the knife, the rice will acquire a warm golden color. To make the coriander in the beans even more flavorful, you need to fry it a little in a dry pan before adding it to the rice.
